Whether you’re just starting to learn about beagles or you’ve dreamed of the exact puppy you’ve wanted for years, it means so much that you are considering us to begin raising your future beagle puppy. We know that adopting a new puppy is a life-changing decision and we want to answer any and all questions about beagles and why you should choose Idaho Beagles as your breeder.
Once we receive your application, we will review it and reach out to you, letting you know of your acceptance onto our waitlist or any additional questions we may have. Once you are on the waitlist we will reach out to you after your desired puppy is born and further direct you in when you may choose a puppy and how to place a deposit. We are happy to send photos/videos or even arrange a video call prior to placing a deposit. If you are within driving distance , we do allow home visits prior to choosing your puppy.
Beagles come in two different sizes, 13" and 15". Our parents are between 12" and 14" so we breed on the smaller end. We breed several colors including the traditional tricolor (black, tan, and white), blue (silver) tricolor (dilute black, tan, and white), chocolate (chocolate, tan, and white), and lilac (dilute chocolate, tan, white) beagles. The cost for our beagles is $1700 for the traditional black/chocolate tricolors and $2200 for the blue/silver or lilac (lighter colored beagles) colors. All of our puppies come with AKC limited registration, first set of shots, well puppy vet check, and a one year health guarantee. We treat our puppies with deworming every 2 weeks and take them to the vet at 6-8 weeks for their first shots and wellness examinations. All of the parents of our puppies have been health tested through Embark. The results of those are available upon request. AKC microchipping is also available for those families desiring this service and the microchip can then be registered through AKC reunite for a small one-time fee.
